Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy outlines how information is handled when you visit our website, get in touch or arrange a trip with us.

1. About this policy
This policy explains how Evolution Liveaboards handles personal information in connection with evolutionliveaboards.com. It covers visits, enquiries and our online booking service. Independent booking, payment and social media providers may also process information under their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, country, trip of interest and message. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and correspondence.
Our booking provider may request guest, travel and payment information needed to arrange a booking. Website service providers may process technical information, including your IP address, browser, device and request logs, to operate and protect the website.
Please do not include payment card details, passport copies or sensitive medical information in the general contact form. If additional information is needed for a trip, ask us how to provide it appropriately.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, assist with bookings, communicate trip arrangements, provide customer support, protect the website against misuse and comply with applicable obligations. Where marketing messages are offered, consent or another legally permitted basis is required; you can ask to stop receiving them at any time.
4. Legal grounds for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the steps you ask us to take before a booking and the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running a secure service, legal obligations, or your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
5. Service providers and sharing
Information may be shared with providers supporting website hosting, email delivery, booking administration and payment processing, and with trip partners where necessary to fulfil your arrangements. The booking page embeds the Inseanq booking service. Information entered into that service is handled through the provider and its relevant payment partners. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights.
6. Cookies and external services
The website and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, security and booking sessions. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and booking resources from Inseanq; your browser connects to those providers, which may receive your IP address and technical request information.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect embedded booking functions. Any non-essential cookies requiring consent under applicable law must only be used with that consent. This policy does not itself provide cookie consent.
Instagram and WhatsApp links take you to independent services governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
7. Retention and security
Personal information should be retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling enquiries, bookings, legal obligations and disputes. Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect information, but no website, email system or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. International processing
Providing travel services in the Maldives and using international technology providers may involve processing information outside your country of residence. Where applicable law requires protections for international transfers, those transfers must use the appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry or booking.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, or withdraw consent. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country where that right applies.
10. Children and policy updates
The website is not intended to collect enquiries directly from children. A parent or guardian should handle enquiries and any permitted booking involving a minor. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorisation, please contact us. We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements; the date above identifies the latest revision.
